The owner of Montvale Plaza has been doing this and getting away with it for years. The problem is there is nothing to delineate where the parking lot ends and the sidewalk begins and where the street begins, in violation of town by laws. The town should install sidewalks here and everywhere else in town where sidewalks were paved to look like a street rather than the sidewalk it is supposed to be. Good luck with that one.

It seems there was a "rumor" that the small building to the left of MP (as you face MP) was to be torn down and the area paved over to make more room for parking at MP. The owner of MP never put into action what he talked about doing.

As the owner of Montvale Plaza for the past 17 years I would like to thank the person who brought to the town’s attention the lack of sidewalks on Montvale Avenue, specifically in front of my building at 54 Montvale Avenue. On numerous occasions I have voiced my opinion on the lack of sidewalks/curbs. I am concerned about the safety of our clients and guests and those that use Montvale Avenue. I would welcome a sidewalk being put in for the better of the town.

Mr Murphy whether there is a sidewalk or not the town owns that land and it is considered a "right of way" and it is not for your guests to park on. Please don't try and justify breaking the law.

This is more than just Montvale Plaza, this is at least 60 percent of stoneham. The "Curb" for montvale plaza is not usable since it is a slip/fall hazard.

"Curb" for MP. What curb? Illegally parked cars, blocking the sidewalk right of way and hanging over into the street. That's a safety hazard.
