    Why are issues reported and then not followed up on? DPW and SPD, I'm looking at you,,, especially around tickets and illegal vehicle activity. And what is up with that whole "Content blocked by rejections" all over the place? I assume BOS maintains SCF so can someone please explain? I personally enjoy the crabbys boo hooing around SCF but SCF should still be productive. The only departments that appear to be responsive in terms of working to completion are SFD, BOS and Board of Health.

    This issue was opened and archived, I was unable to re-open so an opening a new one:
    A crosswalk at this intersection is critical for the safety of the pedestrians who wish to cross Franklin St to or from Rustic Road. There are two pre-schools in the immediate are as well as the Colonial Park School. This section of Franklin St is like a highway at times and impossible to cross.
    **Anthony Wilson replied to the original issue stating the painting dates and if this was not complete to re-open if not done by July 8th.
    The crosswalk has not been completed as of yet.

    On the northern half of Main Street cars drive too fast. Pedestrians and users of the MBTA bus stop (near 159 Main Street) find it dangerous to cross the street, especially at night. I've noticed no speed limit signs from Stop & Shop to the 99 Restaurant (on the northbound side). Can speed limit signs be added? Better would be a crosswalk near the bus stop, one with a stoplight that can be activated by pedestrians. Thanks.

    10-28 Beacon Street Stoneham, MA 02180, USA - Stoneham
    Traffic Cones placed all along Beacon St. from Spring Street continuing past the old East School. There are a few dozen orange traffic cones placed all along the curb line of Beacon St. They do not appear to have any traffic control purpose, there is no roadwork apparent and there are no signs indicating any parking restrictions. There is no snow on the ground and we're certainly not in South Boston saving shoveled spaces this time of year. If they are there to suggest that no one park there due to the ball fields at the Old East School, it comes across as unwelcoming to fellow residents. Most if not all of these homes have their own driveways, so it's hard to imagine a lack of parking for residents. I have not seen this anywhere else in town that I can recall. These cones are an eyesore and should be removed. If the town wants to impose parking restrictions they should post proper and more aesthetically pleasing signs.

    The section of Summer Street between Main Street and Pond Street had the water main replaced weeks ago. The road has been patched, but there is still much gravel in the street. A few passes of the street sweeper would be appreciated.
    Also, the grass strips along the sidewalk have been dug up and not repaired. I do not expect the grass to be graded and reseeded, but the mounds of dirt, rocks, and exposed roots should be cleaned up by the contractor who did the excavation. There is also sawn up chunks of sidewalk that need repairing
    Thanks in advance for getting our stretch of road back to its original condition.

    With restaurants and other businesses making improvements in the center you owe them and the town new pavement on Main Street and most of Franklin. Get it done.

    Good morning. Could you tell me if the trash and recycle pick up this week is back on schedule. We have recycle in our neighborhood that has not been picked up for close to two weeks. I know this is a holiday week, and our usual Wednesday pick up would be done on Thursday. Are we on that schedule for this week? I would just like to make sure it gets put out on the correct time. Thanks for getting this unforeseen situation straightened out.
