Van has been parked on this block for over 2 weeks with Illinois plates. Previously, has been parked on other streets as well. This has gone on for months with multiple reports. When it is issues a ticket, it just moved to another spot, or block. Why is this person allowed to remain on Whiting streets for so long and still have out of state plates?

This is from the city's website. There's is also a section regarding towing. You would think they would follow the rules.

The vehicle was checked on this morning. It has been moved. Ofc's will continue to check on it. As far as it having Illinois plates, the vehicle is registered to a company (vendor). No action can be taken for having Illinois plates. (005)
