  • Enterprise Dr Kingston, NY 12401, USA - Ulster

The pedestrian overpass at TechCity has fallen into disrepair. It used to have a covering on the roof, but recently that covering has been removed. Now, its glass roof panels cast a blinding glare on drivers headed south on Enterprise Drive in the mid-morning. Not just an annoying glare -- a literally blinding glare on a sunny day. The angled glass roof acts like a mirror, and it's at an almost perfect angle to put the Sun directly in motorists' eyes.

Besides, if you look closely at the overpass, the whole thing is starting to rot.

The Town of Ulster should make the owner of the overpass at least fix the anti-glare roof coating, or if the owner doesn't intend to maintain the overpass, get it removed before it falls apart!

The new streetlights outside UPAC look nice... except that two of them have no globes any more. One's got a naked light bulb, the other doesn't even have that.

The lights need to be fixed, both for safety and to keep the block from looking run down.

  • 261-267 Foxhall Ave Kingston, NY 12401, USA - Kingston
Traffic northbound on Foxhall gets held up when a car tries to make a left onto Cornell. This usually results in cars stopped on the railroad tracks, especially when the turning driver fails to signal in time. There should be no left turn from Foxhall onto Cornell because of the danger of stopping on the tracks. Ideally, there should be a divider to physically prevent this left turn.
  • 1-19 E Chester St Kingston, NY 12401, USA - Kingston

The pedestrian crossing light at the corner of Broadway and East Chester, on the same corner as the Burger King, is pointing the wrong way. The light that is supposed to face across Broadway is instead facing across East Chester, and the light that's supposed to face across East Chester is pointed down East Chester.

The signals just need to be moved around on the pole.

They actually seem to be working properly, which hasn't been the case for years, other than this.
