Also on the other side there is a no parking sign that is covered by shrubs, please clear away as to make visible/ located north of s.142nd st on the eastside next to fence at Maple Apartments , also on the corner of s.142nd st and 37th ave s, vehicles park next to stop sign and make it hard to see oncoming traffic, it is very unsafe! Ticket please, vehicles should not be parking here north of the stop sign as it is a no parking zone and also blocks the view of oncoming traffic when I am stopped at the stop sign and trying to make a turn headed south. This is very unsafe!

Face it! The cops just want the paycheck and not the work that goes with it. They really have to stop dragging their butts around. It's embarassing.

They should just be towed if they are parked in a no parking zone and are creating a dangerous situation. I dont understand the " no ticketing " mentality. Maybe the city needs a neighborhood metermaid that has the sole job of ticketing . Report it on the traffic calming part of the city's web site too .

What a great idea! There should actually be a force of many metermaids all over the city considering the illegal parking that is taking place. Not in just one particular area, but all over the city. Think they would put out the money for it?

Still don't see any tickets on vehicles parked in the area!

Three days and cars are still parked in no parking zones ???? I thought the city had a contract with a tow company. People will continue to park where they want because there are no consequences in the form of ticketing or towing.

I believe the Officers don't know how to write or they've run out of pencils and pens. Time to go back to school. Either that or all their fingers are broken.

What about ticketing the vehicles here? Why have laws in place if the city/police department does not enforce them. I watch police drive by this area all day and never ticket vehicles. Whats the deal with the police departments blatant disregard to enforce the law? If there is an accident I am involved in at this intersection I'm going to sue the Police department for not enforce the no parking in this area.

We will also sue if our black fence gets hit again along 37th ave S. I have documented officers refusing to ticket vehicles parked here as well, and the city stating that police need to enforce the no parking here.

Yes Eric Hines, the other issue is overgrown shrubs covering the no parking sign and thanks for enforcing the no parking but other officers refuse to enforce the no parking, why is that?

The real question is "Isn't there a quota they're supposed to meet" every day or week? Or are there laws that the public doesn't know about? And lastly, maybe they just aren't doing their job. What is the point of having this website if they aren't going to put it to its' proper use?
