I would like to draw your attention to the traffic congestion at the corner of 62nd Ave S and South Center Blvd. I am a resident that uses this as my main access to and from home. When the light is red at 61st Ave S traffic traveling west on South Center Blvd backs up with cars, buses and semi trucks. This is 3 lanes deep, one to turn left onto 61st Ave S and two lanes that go straight to I-5. When this happens the visibility of the on coming traffic traveling east bound on South Center Blvd is non existent. When you are making a left turn on South Center Blvd not only are you doing so blindly but if you needed to stop because of unforeseen east bound traffic you are now blocking the west bound traffic. With the Tukwila City Hall sign blocking ones view to the left and traffic blocking the view to the right I feel this is an accident waiting to happen.
May I suggest striping the intersection with a Do Not Block similar to what is done near the Bahama Breeze Restaurant and removing the yellow stop for cross walk sign in the median of South Center Blvd and turning that into a left turn merge lane.
