It is the mission of the Department of Community Development – Code Enforcement Team to resolve all private property violation issues to the best of our ability in a timely and responsive manner.

This matter is concerning air quality. Air quality is regulated by Puget Sound Clean Air Agency. Puget Sound Clean Air Agency can be contacted for comments, questions, or concerns related to air quality. They can be reached by phone at 206-343-8800 or 800-552-3565. They can also be reached by email at communications@pscleanair.org.

At this time the Department of Community Development – Code Enforcement Team is closing this case because Code Enforcement does not have jurisdiction over this issue. Please contact the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency for any matters relating to air quality.

Thanks, however, my request was not for code enforcement, rather a request for a code revision to not allow this type of use near residential properties, parks or schools.
